Pokemon Black and White's Limited Edition DSi Bundles

Pokemon Black and White's Limited Edition DSi Bundles

The 3DS' launch in North America on March 27 isn't the only new hardware Nintendo has planned for next month. Two limited edition DSi bundles packaged with either Pokemon Black or White will also be released on March 6 to coincide with the release of the two games.
Included in each of the bundles will be a Pokemon-branded DSi carrying case, a copy of either Black or White, and a DSi with an etching of two legendary Pokemon from the new games, Reshiram and Zekrom (pictured below). The bundle will cost $179.99, which offers slight savings over buying a copy of the game for $34.99 and a new DSi for $149.99 (plus the cost of a carrying case).

Though it's compatible with all DS system iterations, Black and White feature some special functionality when played on a DSi or DSi XL. The "Xtransceiver" device allows four players to video chat over a local wireless connection (two players can video chat when on Wi-Fi). When played on an original DS or DS Lite, players will be restricted to voice chat due to the systems' lack of a camera.
Pokemon Black and White will also be playable on the 3DS, should you instead choose to pick up one of those at the end of the month.
